Six Mile Creek Bridge,
Pomona - Kin Kin Road
This project involved replacing the existing timber bridge on Kin Kin Road, 3 km north of Pomona, with a modern concrete bridge structure. This upgrade significantly enhances safety, capacity, and reliability for road users. The new 4-span, 2-lane concrete bridge not only accommodates increased traffic flow but also offers improved flood immunity, ensuring consistent accessibility during adverse weather conditions.

Glass House Mountains Road (Steve Irwin Way)
Our company is proud to support the Steve Irwin Way safety improvement project through comprehensive contract administration. Given the road's significant crash history, this initiative is crucial for enhancing safety. The project involves creating dedicated entry and exit points, formalising parking areas, and installing turning lanes. These improvements are designed to significantly reduce the potential for accidents, making the road safer for all users and contributing to a more efficient traffic flow.

Northern Transit Way
(Gympie Arterial Road)
The Northern Transit Way project provides a cost-effective solution for establishing a high-quality public transport corridor, enhancing frequent on-road bus services, and ensuring reliable travel times. The project faced complexities including the discovery of undocumented old utilities and the need to replace outdated stormwater drainage structures, which required extensive management and relocation efforts. MoffittGrey was engaged to support navigating the project's complexities, which demanded meticulous coordination, adaptability, and problem-solving.

The Fitzroy Bridges Upgrade Project
The Fitzroy Bridges Upgrade Project involved demolishing three timber bridges at Banana, Roundstone and Sandy Creek and replacing them with wider, higher concrete bridges. It also included the hydro demolition and widening of the Callide Creek bridge, which featured steel I-beam girders. All bridge locations required significant earthworks, drainage, and pavement reconstruction.
